I'm back again with something new to write about. After doing all challenges, it is time for doing the last one and with that finish the ICT module. The last challenge consist on an online conference where I had to highlight all the things done during this months, that is to reflect in our own learning process, that is the step followed to create our own Open Educational Project and tell it to the rest of the world including our classmates. The 4th of May I had the pleasure to collaborate in this online conference carried out through Moodle for Teachers.
This conference also helped us to let us know to the rest of the educational community since all the people who assisted to the conference were provided with our blogs links and our twitter handles. In order to prepare ourself to participate in the conference we had to create a slide with the key aspects we wanted to show and that helped us to remember what to say. Here you have the slideshow we created:
As I said before all of us who participated in the online conference should reflect on our learning process and let the participants know it, for this reason I created a draft with the main ideas develop. This draft help me to rehearse a little bit although then when my turn arrived the sound was awful and people could not hear me very well, it was just one of those things. For those who wanted to know more about my path along ICT module, below you have the draft with all the interesting points.
After doing the slides and the draft, the day and the moment arrived we were all very nervous because we have never taken part in an event like that and in that moment you tend to think that you have forgotten everything and you are not going to do it very well. Finally, almost everyone presented their Open Educational Digital Projects and all the step followed to create it. Right after you have the entire conference from the beggining to the end:
To end this post but not my adventure with the ICT, I would like to say that this subject has taught a lot to me, I have found that I really like ICT and that I want to continue working with them and including them when I teach my students. However, it has to be said that I have had a great effort to finish all the challenges in time and to do them the best I could. As the teacher said when we began the course, ICT are very time-consuming and that is completely true, I believe that all of us have experienced it. I think I have to continue learning new things and dedicating some free time to discover and to create new tools and useful resources.
Finally, I would like to thank my teacher all the knowledge that has provided to us and that has changed a little bit our thinking about education.
